Hollingshead sustained three broken vertebrae in his neck when he was hit by a car on an icy road on Friday, per MLSsoccer.com's Steve Brisendine. He will be in a neck brace for six to eight weeks.
Hollingshead stopped to assist another motorist who had wrecked and he was struck by another car. He will not need surgery and there is no risk of spinal cord injury. Hollingshead could return to action by April.
